Rejections: 2, form

I am getting a little tired of rejection after rejection. It is a natural part of the writing life so I’m not whining here but this has been one of those weeks were the rejections are flying in at a bewildering pace and my ego is fucking bruised like a mofo. Today, rejections from Opium (in a record 49 days!) and Flatmancrooked. They were pretty inoffensive. There’s no perfect way to say hey, not interested.

Anyway, I have some stories here and there. (Really, I should never ever complain about rejections but I guess this is my blog so I can anyway!)

    i know what you mean about the clumped rejections, when that happens it’s like having a troll on your back punching you in the head, you’re like “hey, lay off!” i mean, rejections are all well and good, but let’s keep ‘em spread out a bit!

    truly enjoyed all three stories, by the way :)
